Whether you want to make your summer more meaningful or provide ongoing support throughout the year, Camp Wapiyapi is always looking for more volunteers to help us create magic in our community. As a volunteer, you'll be an integral part of our close-knit camp staff, bringing smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories to children and families facing the challenges of pediatric cancer.
Volunteering at Camp Wapiyapi is not just about giving back; it's an opportunity for personal growth, gaining new perspectives, and forming lifelong friendships. Join us in creating a truly magical and meaningful summer for these incredible kids!
Join us for our summer sessions and directly make an impact for our campers as a cabin lead, counselor, or medical volunteer. Whether you're assisting with activities, lending a listening ear, or offering a comforting presence, your presence and commitment will be cherished by everyone involved.
All volunteers must have a sincere and genuine interest in working with youth, relate well to all age levels and backgrounds, and demonstrate consistent character and integrity. You should also be physically able to hike, walk, stand, bend, lift comfortably (50 lbs.), and use stairs over the course of a day at an elevation of ~8,500 ft.
